Vassar - 3-1

We finally got baseball weather, maybe even warmer than Florida!! We took 3 of 4 from Vassar. Their 1st League win, ouch! I hope that doesn't come back to haunt us. Again, we had good parental support, Thanks to all who made the trip. The field was in great shape, it was a minor league field used for the New York-Penn league during the summer. Overall, we played well, but could have hit better. Devin Shane seemed to be zoned in, with a couple of big hits! Defense was and continues to be outstanding! Pitching also remains a strong point with this team!

There were some questionable calls on the part of the umpires on both days, it gave those of us there plenty to talk about!!
