From the sounds of it, the University of Rochester Baseball Team will have plenty of parental support on the spring trip in Florida.
I just heard that Jim Bard broke his hand in practice a week or so ago. How unfortunate!! He will be out of action for a while, but hopefully back before the season ends.
Well, its getting close now, like many of you I am looking forward to a little vacation and a whole lot of baseball!!
I will be contacting our shirt vendor tomorrow. He was hoping to have the order completed by tomorrow. If you have not yet sent in your payment, please do so tomorrow. He will not ship your items out without payment. Thanks!
I will be attending the Bruce Springsteen concert tomorrow night in Rochester with 3 of my 4 boys, as Chris has to work. What a great way to kickoff the vacation! We are flying out Friday night and hope to see a great 1st game out of our boys on Saturday morning! Who is bringing the coffee??
Luke Brocks is scheduled to start against Drew, Pete and Blair to start the League games against Skidmore on Sunday.
See you on Saturday morning!
Safe travels to all, especially the team!

Ed - Thanks for all your work on the shirt order! My daughter told me I already have a UR sweatshirt so why do I need another one? This is the same 17 year old that can't walk across her room for all the clothes she has!
Idea - when you send a group email, add the blog URL to the bottom. I enjoy reading everyone's comments and it'd be great to see more parents involved.
See you in Florida. I'm bringing a snowball for our Hawaiian friends!
We'll be flying out Friday night as well, and getting in at 1:00a.m.!!
Safe travels to all, and especially for our kids. Hopefully they'll miss the snow.
Hey Patti. . .
What happened 2 the snowball???
Must have melted on the way down.
Sorry didn't get 2 read this sooner but we were in the air flying over.
Take care
