Check out www.D3Baseball.com as they review the New York Region. Rochester is mentioned as the dark horse in the region, and is also mentioned in the review of the upcoming Liberty League season. Both comments are very positive and shed a positive light on the program and the upcoming season.
High expectations and some recognition for our boys, this could be a very good year indeed!
They just need to take it one game at a time, one inning at a time, and they can live up to the hype!
I am certainly looking forward to this year, starting in Florida, as the warmer weather will be appreciated.
Mark your calendars now for the weekend of April 26 and 27th, as we travel to RPI, and May 9, 10, and 11th, which is the Liberty League Tournament, hosted by the regular season champion, with an automatic bid to the NCAA Regional Tournament at stake!!
The Liberty League Tournament is a double elimination tournament for the top 4 teams in the standings at the end of the regular season. The team that finishes in first place in the standings, gets to host the tournament. The tournament winner gets an automatic bid to the NCAA D3 Regional Tournament. The past few years, the New York Regional has been hosted by Ithaca College at a minor league park in Auburn, NY.
Happy Valentine's Day to all, I hope you all had a LOVE-ly Day!
22 days until Opening Day vs Drew in Tampa!! I hope many of you can make the trip, even if only for a portion of the week.
See you at the ballpark

Thanks for the link to that site. That is a real cool site. It is nice to see Rochester get some recognition. The kids seem to really clique well together and with a majority of the kids returning it will be nice to have those upperclassmen lead the way.
I also saw that the rochester baseball site posted the roster.

To all of you Yellowjacket fans....
Shirl and I will be in Florida for "Opening Day" festivities, and to cheer on the Yellowjackets!! Hope to see many of you in Tampa and Sanford.
I'm still trying to convince Shirl in letting me go to the RPI series. If not, I'm definitely going to the conference tournament (think positive)!!!!
