As I sit here on Saturday night, I am thinking that I will be in Florida on Friday night. Yeah!!!!
News Flash - Nina has decided that she does not want to be left out of all of the fun and will be in Florida from Friday night until Wednesday afternoon!! I guess you could say that basically it was a game time decision!
One more week of work and then hello baseball!!
I think I will pack tomorrow, as I have a very busy week ahead in preparation for the trip and the weeklong celebration for Nina's Birthday on Thursday!! She is the big 50, but you didn't hear that from me!
Monday night we are going out to dinner at a place of her choosing and on Thursday, cake at our house. Friday night we fly to Tampa and will be staying with her sister Susie, who lives in St. Petersburg.
We are both looking forward to seeing you all and renewing our family ties with the Rochester baseball family. It will be like a big family reunion and it has been a long time since we have seen each other!

Only 6 days until Opening Day!

Being a third year parent, and one that has been in Florida twice already for the spring trip, I can honestly say that you're going to meet a great bunch of parents!! I believe that if all of us were within driving distance from one another, we would have more get-togethers, parties, BBQ's. All good people!!!

I look forward to it!! I hope that I can make it up to URoc at least once during the season. Anytime you all want to take a break from the beautiful northern winter weather-- I have an extra room at my house in Ft. Lauderdale!! See you in 2 days!!
