Ed Kahovec - Parent Communication

It was great to see and meet those of you that travelled to Florida this past week. I thought that the team did a great job and I am looking forward to the season. I am encouraged that last year we came out of Florida 1-7 and this year we were 5-4, and had a shot at the UAA Tournament title!

In the past, someone has maintained an email list of parents and alumni. I guess that I am volunteering myself. Please review this first list of those parents that were on Coach Reina's itinerary email and respond back with any corrections or any email addresses that I may have missed. I would like to put together a contact list for the parents and alumni, so I will be soliciting more information in the near future. I will go back to past lists and try to make this list as complete as possible.

Also, if anyone has any ideas about what they would like to see in the email, let me know! Should we set up a blog? Does anyone know how and where we could do this? Should I just ramble on about what a great group of boys we have on the team and how the parents enjoy each others company, etc, or maybe just a weekly update of some sort?

Hope to see many of you throughout the season, Wed Mar 21 23:16:41 2007

That's really great that you are willing to do this. I can offer a suggestion but first I want to also say how terrific I think all the parents are and how nice that they have so much team spirit. Plus for all those "local to Rochester" parents that have welcomed Michael into their homes on several occasions for a home-cooked meal and a little Mothering.... Thank-you...which gets to my suggestion. Because the Park-Caracappa family is not able to attend all the games it would be great if the parents that can would give a more qualitative/quantitative review for us so we can feel like we are part of it too.

I know we are rooting for all the boys to do well and get excited for them when we hear they hit a homerun or made a great catch! So that's my vote....plus I would also be happy to help any way I can even though I'm long distance. Thanks
