The Liberty League tournament field is set - UR plays Clarkson and RPI takes on Skidmore.
Should be a great weekend!
The Olsens have volunteered to take care of lunch on Friday! Thanks Sandy and Bruce!
The team is staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Latham, NY - the same hotel that they stayed in for the Union weekend.
Make your travel plans!! I am hoping for a large UR contingent to spur the team on to the LL Championship!!
I'll post game times as soon as I know them. Last year there were 3 games on Friday, starting at 930 AM. I'm not sure what the format will be this year, but there will have to be 3 games either Friday or Saturday and then the Championship game(s) on Sunday. The tournament champion gets an automatic bid to the NCAA regional in Farmingdale on Long Island!
See you at the ballpark!

Hotel for Liberty League Tournament
Hi everyone. If you're looking for a hotel for the Liberty League Tournament at RPI next weekend, try using www.priceline.com then select hotels. After you enter Troy, NY, select one of the half price links to enter your bid. Gretchen Brocks is the one that told me about this and I was able to get a hotel at the Fairfield Inn Greenbush for $60, way less than their posted price even for AAA. This was the best price I could get for at least a two star hotel. If you need help, let me know at this email address.
