Happy Easter and Passover to all!!
I have not kept up with the blog, but will catch up in the near future. Yesterday was a good day, but not the results that could have been achieved. Dan Ludwig stepped up and pitched a great game in the first game of the day and in the 2nd, the game was UR's for the taking, but the bullpen could not keep RPI from scoring at the end of the game.
Today the team will need to split at worst from a regional perspective, and a sweep today would give them an outside chance at hosting the Liberty League tournament in May.
The weather is expected to be very similar to yesterday with sunshine and cool temps in the 40's. Hopefully, with a little less breeze!!
See you soon at the ballpark!

Skype the RPI Game
Skype is a free program available at http://www.skype.com/download/skype/windows/ (there is a Mac version also). I have used this for over a year to talk for free via the computer; even to Spain. If you put this on your computer and create an account (free), you can do a search for my Skype name patti.sullivan1 then we will be able to talk (free) during the game. We can even connect multiple people through the same conversation so several parents can listen to the game at the same time. If anyone wants to give this a try, we should test it ahead of time. Send me an email psullivan@hilton.k12.ny.us or give me a call. If this works, I can only promise that I'm a really lousy announcer so hopefully other parents at the game will help me out.

Brockport game PPD
The game today was rescheduled to tomorrow due to wet conditions. It rained throughout the day, mostly sprinkles and misting, and was nicer in the late afternoon. The game will be played tomorrow, which is supposed to be a very nice day. I will not be able to attend, due to a prior commitment, but plan to travel this weekend.
RPI is currently 8-0 in the Liberty League, UR is 7-1, Clarkson is 5-1, St. Lawrence and Vassar are both 1-7, Union is 0-2, and Skidmore is 0-4. Every weekend series and indeed, every game is important!
Laurie Parker is in town to help Alex celebrate his birthday!
I saw Andy Cannon and Paul Toland at Pellegrino's, when I stopped there for lunch today! What a great group of boys these young men are!! All of them are well mannered, polite, respectful, young men of great character. It really is a privilege to be around them, at the ballpark, on campus, or around town.
